Frequently asked questions

1. What are Asana licences and why do I need them?

Asana is a web-based work management platform which is offered in various pricing tiers, each offering a range of features. For paid tiers, you will need to purchase one licence for each user/member of your team/company. You can pay for licences either monthly or save 2 months worth of licences when you pay annually.

You do not need to purchase a licence for users who are not part of your organization since anyone that you invite to your Asana space, that does not use an email with your company domain, will be considered a 'Guest' user and thus will not require a licence.

2. How do I qualify to purchases licences through you?

If you are a new customer, you will need to purchase a minimum of 5 licences on any Asana plan and on an annual payment cycle.

If you are an existing customer, you will need to fulfill one of the following scenarios:

  • you either upgrade to a higher pricing tier than what you are currently on

  • or you change your payment cycle from monthly to annually

  • or you increase the number of licences (seats / users) by 25%

3. How much will I pay for licences if I purchase them from you?

If you are a new customer, you will be eligible for up to 10% discount for your first annual subscription as long as you purchase a minimum of 15 licences.

If you are an existing customer you may also be eligible for a discount for your first annual payment, as long as you fulfill the criteria as noted above, in question 2. The discount will depend on whether you upgrade to a higher tier, change payment cycle to annual or the amount of increase in the number of licences (seats / users).

After your 1st year with me as your Asana partner, you will pay the same as per Asana's pricing.

4. How does the payment process work and how do I pay you?

I will issue you a quote based on the pricing plan and the number of seats you require.

Once you accept my quote, I will issue you an invoice and once paid, I will then place the order for Asana to furnish you the licences, which usually takes 2-3 days. If you are an existing customer, Asana will refund you with any amount that you have prepaid in advance, whilst setting a new renewal date for your subscription.

Invoices can be paid via wire transfer or via secure payment with a credit card.

5. What changes when we pay our licences to you and who is the billing owner?

Once you partner with me, I will be ultimately responsible for your Asana licences, essentially acting as the billing owner. Rest assured that I will send you reminders when your annual payments are due and any questions you have regarding your billing, you will direct to me.

6. How many licences can I purchase through you?

You can purchase as many licences as you need for your members. The number of licences must follow Asana's current bundles which are either 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225 or 250. If you are looking for over 250 licences, please contact me. The minimum number of licences I can sell is 5.

7. What is the 'direct priority support' that you offer if we purchase licences from you?

If you qualify to purchase your licences through me, as your Asana partner, I will set up an Asana project board within your Asana space which can be used by you or any member of your team or entire company, to post questions to me about basic Asana usage. I will then review and answer within 24hours or less. If urgent, you can always call me or send me an email. If questions are of a complex nature, or based on your own particular custom usage or workflows, I will suggest an online session to be scheduled instead, of which up to 30 minutes will be free of charge.

8. What are the 'free consultations' that you offer if we purchase licences from you?

As your Asana partner, I offer complimentary quarterly check-ins calls with you where we can discuss the state of your Asana, adoption and engagement rates as well as any questions you may have. I also offer free consultations whenever you need to evaluate and discuss your Asana plan and licences, if your are considering to upgrade or expand.
